Send Your Drawings to Start a Manufacturing Review
Clear part information leads to a more accurate review of manufacturing scope and cost. Attach the available files and provide the volume, alloy, finish, and critical requirements.
Frequently asked questions
What files are required for a quotation?+
A CAD model and 2D drawing are preferred, together with the alloy, volume, finish, and critical dimensions. You may send the available information first, and the team will identify what is missing.
Does DICASTO manufacture tooling?+
Yes. The scope may include tool design, manufacturing, and preparation around the part and production volume after the technical and commercial scope is approved.
Do you work with aluminum and zinc?+
DICASTO supports projects in aluminum and zinc alloys. Final alloy selection depends on the drawing, part function, and customer requirements.
Can you provide CNC machining after casting?+
Yes. Machining may be added for surfaces, holes, threads, and features that require additional precision or finishing.
Can you provide finishing?+
Finishing and treatment can be coordinated according to the alloy and application. The type, color, and acceptance standard should be stated in the RFQ.
Do you support prototypes?+
Prototypes or 3D printing may be reviewed to check form and assembly before tooling, depending on project requirements.
How is the first sample approved?+
The sample is reviewed against the drawing, critical characteristics, and agreed finish. Recurring production begins after the required approval is documented.
How are confidential files handled?+
Technical files are handled confidentially. An NDA may be requested before sensitive information is shared if management approves this process.
